Clinical & Counselling Psychologist (Endorsed) · Founder & Director

B.Sci (Psychology) · Post Grad Dip (Applied Psychology) · M.Psych (Counselling) · M.Clinical Psychology

Myra Jennings is the Founder and Director of Yellow Stable, and holds endorsements in both Clinical and Counselling Psychology — a dual endorsement that shapes how she works. With more than 20 years of experience, she sees clients of all ages and supports individuals, families and organisations through meaningful psychological growth, while providing the clinical leadership that guides the practice's standards and direction.

Her approach is calm, warm and grounded in evidence. She works collaboratively, helping people make sense of their emotional, behavioural and developmental experiences and build genuine insight, capacity and self-understanding. Her dual training is central to this: from the counselling tradition, she draws on the therapeutic relationship and a strengths-based search for meaning; from clinical psychology, she brings rigour in assessment, diagnosis and structured intervention for complex concerns.

Myra began her career in 2002 with the Victorian Department of Human Services, and has since worked across government, private, educational and community settings — including Headspace, Monash University, and with First Nations communities around Australia. She has also consulted in the corporate sector on leadership, workplace culture and behavioural strategy. Since 2010 she has worked in private practice alongside roles in government and not-for-profit agencies, consistently integrating clinical expertise with a strengths-based, outcomes-focused approach.

She is a Fellow of both the APS College of Counselling Psychologists and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and an accredited member of the Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED).
