Assessment & therapy
Each service is delivered by a registered psychologist and tailored to your situation. Available by telehealth Australia-wide and in person across bayside Melbourne.
Cognitive & Learning Assessment
Understanding how you learn changes everything. A cognitive and learning assessment gives a clear, evidence-based picture of how the mind works — strengths, challenges, and the unique way a person takes in and processes information. It turns vague worries like "why is this so hard?" into real answers you can act on.
For many, it identifies a specific learning difficulty — such as in reading, writing or mathematics — and clarifies the support that will help most. We use validated, gold-standard tools within recognised frameworks, and our approach is neuroaffirming throughout.
Suitable for
School-aged children and students seeking a clearer understanding of their learning profile and the accommodations that will support them.
What's involved
Cognitive and academic achievement testing using validated measures, school liaison where appropriate, and a written report with clear, practical recommendations.
ADHD Assessment
ADHD looks different in everyone. It can show up as difficulty focusing, restlessness or impulsivity — but just as often as procrastination, disorganisation, forgetfulness, or working twice as hard to keep up. A thorough assessment brings clarity: a structured evaluation of attention, concentration, impulsivity and executive functioning.
For many people, an assessment is about more than a diagnosis — it's a chance to understand yourself or your child, access the right support, and move forward with genuine self-understanding.
Suitable for
Children, adolescents and adults exploring difficulties with focus, organisation or regulation — with or without a prior referral.
What's involved
An intake interview, developmental history and standardised measures, followed by a feedback session and a written report with clear recommendations.
Autism (ASD) Assessment
Autism is a natural variation in how a person experiences and connects with the world. A thorough assessment offers clarity — a respectful, in-depth understanding of social communication, sensory experiences, and patterns of thinking and behaviour, using validated, gold-standard tools within recognised, evidence-based frameworks.
For many people, it's a chance to make sense of lifelong experiences and access the right support. Our approach is neuroaffirming throughout: understanding you or your child as a whole person — strengths included.
Suitable for
Children, adolescents and adults seeking clarity and understanding, with or without a prior referral.
What's involved
A detailed developmental and personal history, structured assessment activities, and collateral information where relevant. You'll receive a comprehensive written report you can use at home, at school, at work, or to support pathways such as the NDIS.
Therapy & Ongoing Support
Everyone needs support to navigate the hard stretches — whether that's a child finding their feet, a parent seeking guidance, a family working through a difficult season, or an adult facing a challenge that feels heavier alone. Our therapy is warm, collaborative and grounded in evidence, supporting concerns such as anxiety, low mood, stress and life transitions.
It's also a natural next step after an assessment, helping you turn new understanding into real, practical change.
Suitable for
Children, adolescents and adults seeking practical, supportive psychological care — as well as parents looking for guidance and support.
What's involved
Collaborative sessions at a pace that suits you, with goals set and reviewed together over time, so the work stays focused on what matters most.
